We've got Issues

Your care to know where I stand on the issues of the day, just says a whole lot about the visitors to my campaign website. I am a very passionate man with many concerns for our Country. But I will just focus on what I see going on within my county of St. Clair.

ACCOUNTABILITY:

I believe I can serve the people of St. Clair County as the Sheriff and help the Deputies be stronger and more efficient, by enabling them to do their jobs as law enforcement officers without a quota holding them back from accomplishing this. And in turn, this will supply the necessary support and safety the citizens of St. Clair County deserve.

INTEGRITY:

There have been cases of citizens who had called in to request extra patrols in their neighborhoods due to Breaking & Entering, Suspicious Person walking around the homes, Drug Activities, etc. And as concerned citizens, they have the right to the security that can be provided by the show of extra patrol cars. just an occasional patrol unit passing through would be adequate. And I think this would boost the integrity of the Sheriffs office.

OWNERSHIP:

Our jail needs addressing also, with the incident of the inmate (female) falling off the top bunk (approximately 5-6 feet) onto the floor below and then laying there in excruciating pain for an unknown amount of time before being attended to by the correctional personnel. I know, from experience, that the inmates can just want attention, but after an observation of her pleas for medical assistance, this should have been addressed and more likely could have avoided the lawsuit that is now pending against the Sheriffs Office.

RESPONSIBILITY:

I am currently a member of the Constitutional Sheriff & Peace Officers Association. (CSPOA) This Association is setup to instruct County Sheriffs of their responsibility and authority that they have to protect the citizens of their county from federal interventions and make sure that the federal government does not come in and violate the rights of the citizens in their county.
